A detailed financing plan goes far beyond a business plan and is prepared to assist in attracting
funds from lenders or investors. With a financing plan, potential lenders can gain a full understanding of the business
activity, the historical financials of the business and forecasts and projections of future balance sheets, income statements
and cash flow statements. Cash flow lenders such as banks will require collateral in most cases. However, their
first priority is having the information in hand that proves the firm's future cash flow is sufficient to run the day
to day operations of the company and meet future debt coverage.
We specialize in producing financing plans for
companies like yours. For a more detailed description of plan contents, please read our article located under the heading
"Resources".
SBA and USDA Business and Industrial Loans
Government lenders such as The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and The United States Department
of Agriculture's Business and Industrial Loan Division (USDA B&I) are actually not lenders at all. Banks or
other financial institutions originate the loans and SBA and USDA attach a "guarantee" to cover potential loan losses.
This makes lenders much more comfortable in their small business lending and often makes the difference for loan approval.
The requirements are much the same as preparing a financing plan plus the addition of a myriad of forms specifically
for SBA or USDA. Because we know their loan criteria, our firm can produce every required document necessary for approval.
Business Plans
A Business Plan is actually the precursor to a Financing Plan. The Business Plan is designed
to assimilate all the information necessary for the firm to determine the feasibility of start-up or growth through acquisition
or capital revision. In other words, it is generally an internal document to determine if the firm should embark on
the selected path.
Our firm can help you develop the entire Business Plan through input from all principals
involved in the business. Only after a company has established a complete business plan should it embark on attracting
loan or investor capital.
Accounting Services
We can set up your accounting system and train your employee(s) in its
use. We have helped clients set up simple systems such as Quickbooks and Peachtree Accounting as well as more complex
systems such as Great Plains. We feel it is important for you to be able to perform the accounting function in-house.
By utilizing our training, you can save thousands of dollars over the years as opposed to paying for "client write-up"
services or using an outside accountant. Call us today to see how we can be of service.
